Probably the best hotel in Kisumu. Convenient location. Was there for a work trip. Staff was courteous and professional. They had minor issues with printer and electricity shutdowns but nothing that was any kind of major inconvenience for my stay. Also enjoyed the restaurant menu.

We stayed at the Presidential suite which is huge. We loved the walkable location. Kisumu is a very clean city. The cleanest I have been to in Kenya and a role model for what Nairobi could be. The hotel is well located.. with great views of the Lake and close to the airport.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel multiple times as we return to Kisumu to visit family and friends. We are never disappointed. It is a wonderful hotel with excellent staff. The poolside restaurant is particularly good. Highly recommend.

I thought the Acacia Premier Hotel was fabulous. The hotel location was next to a food mart which was perfect as I needed particular items. The food choices for breakfast was plentiful. I was able to eat dinner after a late evening check in and the food was excellent! I will return to this hotel my next time in Kisumu.

Acacia is to Kisumu what Golf is to Kakamega. Underwhelmed but grateful for the experience. Beautiful views from rooftop. Surprisingly good chocolate cake!

Nice location, service-oriented staff

Staying at Acacia was nice, as always, nice view to the sunset over Lake Victoria from the terrace and most of the staff did a very good job - but some details needs to be looked at. Almost possible to get pool towels, rooms not set up as promised, the pool was partly unavailable / due to not announced (noisy) maintenance going on all day. I hope it will be better next time.

Best hotel in Kisumu

We spent two nights at Acacia Premier, including New Year’s eve, which was awesome with a buffet, live music by a great band and lots of fun. We also got to stay by the pool during our stay. Although there were only 4 sunbeds by the pool, we managed to get two. The food at the pool area was good. We also had breakfast included, which was good too. The room had a view over Lake Victoria. It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The tiles in the bathroom were very badly done and we had expected a better standard for a hotel like this. However it was clean with good water pressure in the shower so it worked well in spite of the bad looking tile work. We had massage at the spa and it was incredible! The massage therapists are very professional and good at their work! Our only complaint for our stay is that the driver we had booked from the hotel to pick us up at the airport wasn’t there and we had to wait for quite a while and call the hotel several times before it finally arrived. This was really annoying since we had travelled for 24 hours and were really tired. However it all worked out in the end.
