Staff were supremely helpful and efficient - helping me make local restaurant reservations and generally being above and beyond. The property is conveniently located near the bustling train station as well as the historic arcade street. And of course, the monorail. Clean, comfortable, economical. The optional breakfast is very good quality.

Great location 2 minutes from train station. The room is too small for two people with their luggage. Bed is too hard and pillows are too soft, so sleeping wasn't very comfortable. There are three coin laundry machines and you can check their status on the room TV which is convenient. Breakfast buffet is great

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura-Ekimae
Hotel was conveniently located 5 mins walk from the Kitakyshu railway station. The hotel had its own parking which was convenient. The room was as expected in Japan, clean, practical and the bed was comfortable.

Comfortable stay. Only issue was that I booked for smoking room when no non smoking room is available. However I was able to open the window to reduce the effect of the smell.

Very close to restaurants and bars... perfect for night time eats.. we had a triple room but it was very spacious and really enjoyed the comfy beds.. the washroom was super big in our room as the shower room and basin was separated with glass.. loved this hotel!! Nearby was department stores and very close to the kokura station..

A Great Value Hotel
The room was clean and nice with everything a traveler needs at a hotel room. The bathroom was spacious with a big bathtub, where I enjoyed a daily soaking. Located at an excellent location. Good value for the price. I just wish the mattress was a little softer.

Outstanding facility. Good sized room, excellent breakfast. Only issue I had was when I checked in. The staff didn’t seem as attentive and skipped over me while I was standing in line to check in other guests who cut in front of me. When I spoke up, the front staff did apologize, but did not seem sincere. Other than that l, my stay was very pleasant. Best hotel breakfast in the area in my opinion.
