“Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!”

“This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. “Stunning views, especially of the waterfall. Spacious and clean room. Our balcony was extra large! They served a very delicious breakfast for a good price. We actually enjoyed it more than when we ate in town. The internet was a problem though, it did not work or was so slow it was unusable, but thankfully we had a hot spot to take video calls for work. Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t need internet. ”

“Séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'hôtel est incroyablement situé, juste au dessus de la voie de chemin de fer, et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue principale d'Ella (ça grimpe pour revenir par contre). Superbe piscine, au calme et profitant de la vue. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Les plats sont délicieux (parfois épicés, on est au Sri Lanka), ils servent aussi des cocktails, des lassi etc, et on a eu la chance d'inaugurer le stand de glaces ! Et le top du top...

“An amazing experience, sleeping in the canopy of the forest. We saw lots of animals and fireflies at night. Accommodation is basic as you would expect but beds and bathroom were clean. “This year, I have slept on multiple beds in multiple countries. Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ella Green Cottages had the best mattress I've had all year. My first night at Ella Green Cottages was literally the best night of sleep that I had in months. Also, whenever I needed anything, the employees immediately stopped doing whatever they were doing and saw to my needs. Best customer service I experienced in the country. ”
