“We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. The kitchen has basics like salt/pepper/oil. Close to the famous golden circle destinations so you get an early start in the loop before the rest of the tourists join in.”

To top it off, each cabin is equipped with a private geothermically heated hot tub. The accommodation is well furnished and well finished in a modern style, and the whole was very clean. “Stayed at the two bedroom apartment which was great, loved that they had coffee and a washing machine. The surrounding area is beautiful, their neighbors have precious horses. ”

I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! ”
