"Charming little rustic hotel that was refurbished by the current owners. They're very accommodating and you can tell they care about providing a good experience. Room was small but not cramped, though larger rooms with more amenities are available as well. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom arrangements for the smaller room but they were kept clean and always seemed to be available. No ac in my room could be a concern if it's particularly hot but the weather was pleasant and it wasn't a problem with the ventilation available. Quiet neighborhood, no safety concerns and street parking wasn't an issue. Landscaping was well maintained and made the grounds feel private and welcoming. Breakfast was just a selection of fruit and packaged items like pastries and banana bread but the selection was good and kept fresh and stocked. There's a commercial kitchen in the back that's in the process of being brought up to code so hopefully there will be more meal options in the future. Very pet friendly (no fee!) with a nice relief area and a decent walk around the neighborhood with a park nearby. Overall a great experience! Would stay here again"

"Staff was friendly but not exceptionably helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy, Bathroom was clean but the shower floor could have used a good scrubbing, didn’t stop me from using the shower and motel showers seem to always need a little work. We chose this hotel over another in town because the breakfast was included. Good selection of items and the make your own mini waffle maker was very good. Bacon and eggs, muffins and bagels, Yogurt and topping bar was nice. Free parking, easy walk to bars and restaurants which was the purpose of out visit."

"Definitely will be going back. Staff was kind and room and premises clean. The only reason I gave a 4 was due to a person who said they were checking in by the front desk. This person had a pitbull off its leash and then got extremely agitated with me when i asked him if he could put the dog on a leash. So while I felt safe for most of the time there, the last few minutes could have gone bad very quickly. I kept myself calm and quickly gave the employee my pass key to the room and left. Thinking someone should be at the desk when the coffee and breakfast items are out."

"Overall, a solid stay at Hilton Garden Inn Olympia. It’s located about a 5-minute drive from downtown (near 4th St), which is convenient if you have a car. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained throughout. The bds were extremely comfortable — we both slept straight through the night. Breakfast is not free (2 for $30) and buffet-style, with a good variety (eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.). Parking is free, which is a nice bonus for anyone driving in. A couple of downsides (Room 416): • The toilet’s flush handle was hard to use — required a lot of force to flush. Front desk said this was just the toilet’s mechanism and couldn’t be fixed. • The hairdryer was dirty, with visible hair on it — clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Overall, a clean, comfortable, good-value hotel — the breakfast and parking are definite pluses, and the bed was great. A bit more attention to bathroom fixtures and cleaning would make it even better. Good option for a short trip or business travel."
