“Flexible arrival and departure - while we could have collected/dropped off the keys at tea room, there’s a key safe available if arriving later/departing earlier. Tidy cottage with comfortable beds. Perfect location for The Roaches and a nice choice of restaurants not far away in Buxton, if you prefer to eat out.”

“We loved the little village of Cromford and we may of overlooked it if we hadn’t stayed here. Cafes and a couple of pubs within walking distance. We were worried about parking with it being Easter, but it wasn’t an issue. It was a great place to stay to explore the Peak District. Cannot fault the hosts, we had everything we needed plus a couple added extras always welcome after a long drive !! ”

“Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends.”

“We had an amazing weekend for our anniversary! From the moment of booking I had great communication with the owners who were very responsive and accommodating. Our cottage was very comfy, cosy and clean. The facilities are amazing with dog paddocks, entertainments (pool table, football table, table tennis, board games, a great wide selection of dvds for the whole family, a kids corner with toys and books). Lots of personal touches (delicious homemade cake, handwritten note etc). We are already...

“In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire . Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Would certainly recommend it. ”
