“This is a gem of a find. Beautifully fitted out and managed with exceptional care. The facilities in the room and common parts are simply great and nothing was too much trouble. Mitchelstown has much to offer but Birdies is above and beyond.”

“The hotel is located in the center of this small village. A easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The train station is very basic with a platform and a small covered sitting area, for when it is raining. This village has only two taxi's so planning through pre-booking is a must. On the day of our check-out, even after pre-booking, traffic conditions almost side-railed our next leg of our adventure. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever.
