“This is very much a hostel for the price of a hotel. The front door was unlocked (and remained so the entire stay) upon arrival and there was no front desk or check in area. You are essentially walking into someone’s (messy) home. We eventually knocked on the door labeled private and a confused woman said to go to the open room with the key in the door- did not confirm our name, reservation number, or anything. I asked about parking, as the street parking available mentioned being permit...

“Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom.
