This was an all around amazing experience. We stayed in the whale suite which had amazing views of ocean and cliff sides. We saw a pod of dolphins before dinner. Dinner was made there by an excellent chef. Highly recommend staying here.

Great stay.

Everything was great. The food was really fantastic. The viewpoint room is advertised on Hotels.com as having a king sized bed. The bed in that room is not a king size but much smaller. We were moved to another room with a less spectacular view but we still had a great time.

Venue worth to visit

Great to be back at the beautiful venue after 6 years. However the venue needs to maintain an ever doing upgrade and maintenance aa the location and rooms - which will be torn and worn after the years. Another issue - it suits better to have fresh flowers in the restaurant - than wethered leaves and flowers, as the hotel is a 5 star boutique hotel..

The room was fantastic. The view is breathtaking of course. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It was super quiet aside from the roar of the ocean in the heads which we fell asleep to every night. The food is very good too. All in all a very very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und einen traumhaften Blick auf die Hafenausfahrt. Wir haben viel auf dem Balkon verbracht, um diese Aussicht zu genießen. Sehr gutes Essen, man darf bestellen, was einen anmacht und sehr freundliches Personal. Besser geht es nicht, wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder.

Wir waren im Zimmer mit Aussicht - super Terrasse mit super Ausblick- bestest Zimmer um morgens, Abends und auch tagsüber die Sonne zu genießen. In der Dusche wäre es sicher nötig das Silikon regelmäßig auszutauschen und somit gegen die Schimmelanfälligkeit durch die feuchte Luft zu verbessern.

Beautiful Ocean Views in Knysna

Our room was small, but very well designed and the view was to die for. Sitting outside at night was incredible. They have larger rooms and they all have a great view. Breakfast was very good.

Bestes Cliff Top Boutique Hotel Afrikas

Nach sehr freundlichem Empfang verbrachten wir den Nachmittag auf der riesigen Terasse unserer Ein-Raum Elefanten-Suite bei kostenlosem Bier aus dem roten Design Smeg. Aussicht auf Knysna Bucht von dort ist ein highlight und eine der allerbesten ganz Afrikas. Hotelpreis sehr teuer aber ein must an der Gartenroute.

The location was great, the ocean views were stunning, and we saw dolphins enjoying some play time in the afernoon. The staff and owner were very friendly and hospitable and made us feel at home from the time we arrived until we departed.
