"I didn't get to see much of the spa because you needed to book a facial or massage to use it. I had a pedicure but that didn't count for some reason. Would be nice if you could just pay a small fee if all you wanted to do was get access to the spa area for the day. And maybe put a few indoor plants in there; because there's no windows so it feels a little claustrophobic."

"Absolutely awful! You can get a hotel for the same price or less on the beach. This place isn't anywhere close to the ocean. Not to mention the breakfast was awful, orange juice that tastes like water, generic, thin bacon! The temperature control in the rooms wasn't user friendly and froze when I slept. Dirty sheets. "This property is in a beautiful and well kept part of the island. The lagoons are great for swimming and just enjoying the sun. The gardens, views, and pools are beautiful. The beach bar is nice, but predictably expensive. The environment is noticeably more calm and tranquil than the downtown hotel scene at Honolulu/Waikiki. We never felt crowded or overstimulated. Having said that, if you plan to spend a lot of time in/around Honolulu/Waikiki, it’s about a 45 minute drive when traffic is considered. Check in was easy and our host quickly explained everything with a short but useful tour. Highly recommend this place unless you want to be downtown every day."
