"It's an old hotel being built in 1964. Our room was spacious and the ac worked well to combat the heat and humidity. There was no daily house cleaning and we had to ask for fresh towels. Valet parking was $45/night with in/out privileges. That's steep on top of tipping attendant each time you retrieve car. Location of hotel is convenient for walking to Ala Moana center and to Waikiki. "

"We stayed here to catch an early flight, it is dated as everyone has commented previously but we found it clean and tidy. We had drinks and dinner in the bar area and found it to be relaxing watching baseball on one of many screens, the service was great! always checking we were ok for drinks & food. "Really good hotel. Stayed in Koa room which was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Small pool on roof, but just a few minutes walk from a great beach. And really well located for shopping and restaurants in Waikiki. Valet parking very efficient, including when leaving for an early flight. I’m sure there are more luxurious places, but this was very good and excellent value. I’d stay again."
