"This was the first part of our stay in Sri Lanka and our host made us feel very welcome-waiting outside for us on our arrival and giving us a choice of rooms in either the original hotel or the new one up the road. "We had an excellent stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help – we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The dinner at the restaurant was outstanding, both in quality and service. Breakfast was generous, with a choice between a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, an American breakfast, or a continental one – all fresh and delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."
