Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. The rooms were clean but the facilities were quite out-dated. There were not enough outlets in the room, and it would be nice to have an electric kettle available.

No better and no worse. Only the entrance on the ground floor looks gorgeous but other than that, it was little bid old basically. Overall, I enjoyed staying at.
This hotel has Ryokan Style rooms with main room being 10 Tatami Mat. Shoji sliding doors seperate a balconey like area with slidings glass panels that I could'nt get to open and at the entrance is a toilet room and a seperate bathtub room.
The balconey room has a mini fridge but there is no hot water kettle.
For men the onsen like area is on the 5th floor and for women it's on the 1st floor.
The staff are friendly and speak a little English. All in all this hotel must be the best value in Japan, though the meal plans seemed expensive so I did'nt choose them.
We stayed for 2 nights. We met heavy rain and flooding / landslide in many areas while on the way to hotel. Staff are very enthusiastic and friendly,
they helped us to find which road we can go when we leave.
