"We loved our stay! We’re from out of town, so being able to glamp with the needed tools to cook was such a fun experience. It’s also a good location to do activities at Mt. Fuji and the nearby lakes. Not all staff spoke English, so we had to use a translation app to communicate. Despite this, they were all very professional and helpful. One thing to note, it is in the nature so there are bugs and leaf that got in the room. Bring bug spray!"

This place was amazing from the moment we arrived. Taking your shoes off upon arrival is a must (as it is in most Japanese Places). Our bags were carried up to our room and we were served green tea. We were told about the amenities and even walked down to the onsens available. We had a room with our own hot spring tub on the balcony which I recommend that you book. Amazing stay experience with the breathtaking view of Lake Kawaguchi and the magnificent Mt. Fuji from your room literally in and out. The room was tidy and spacious with the ceiling tall window and the comfortable terrace sofa. The staff and the service was very friendly, approachable yet has a first class detailed hospitality. The property was highly designed well on how you spend the time in both in the room and in the woods by the nature. Definitely recommend for any group if any age!!

Always enjoy my stay at this property but was disappointed this time with breakfast. They no longer serve drinks to order instead a big thermos for coffee and tea were on the counter, of course taste was subpar. The manager saw my surprise at this and offered drinks to order but I believe this should be a minimum standard for a brand like Hyatt Regency. In my humble opinion, you don’t need curry in the morning buffet but you should offer quality coffee and tea to kick off the day pleasantly.

The property is super clean and well keeped. Everyone is extremely friendly and the food is really good. I was surprised with all the staff attitude from beginning when I arrived (from the driver to the house staffs) I would love to see a varity of dinning menu in the future. There indooor private onsen is really nice and clean, however, there is no public onsen that people can experience like tradition bath house but its understandable and not a big deal.
