I went in early April, the beginning of the low season. I got lucky on the weather, but think low season is good if you want to relax. I imagine high season might get crowded.

Awesome island. Clear water, cool atmosphere, wild jungles with monkeys. You need to come back here again and again.

Extremely swimable beaches! Spend some money and do a snorkel tour to see fun coral reefs and tropical sea creatures. We used Karma Kazi tours and Olga was great! Also do the bio-illuminescent plankton snorkel tour. You won’t regret it!
