I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Kenilworth Hotel. There was a welcoming and helpful atmosphere from most of the staff; the rooms were large and comfortable; and the area was very central with shops and amenities nearby.
Comfortable and spacious rooms.

This beautiful hotel combines the charm of a historic building with modern comforts. The food is delicious, the staff are warm and friendly, and they are always happy to help arrange drivers and train journeys. But what truly makes this hotel special is its exceptional hospitality. When I stayed here last year, I had just bought some Indian clothes and was struggling to figure out how to wear them. The ladies at the front desk and in housekeeping kindly helped me. When they noticed I had no pin to secure my scarf, one of the housekeeping staff even went out of her way to buy some for me. When I returned this year, I found the pins tucked into an adorable little pouch on the bathroom counter. They had remembered! I was deeply touched that they had kept such a small detail in mind and prepared something for me. It made me feel truly remembered and cared for. Someone had also noticed that I needed to remove my nail polish and thoughtfully left some remover for me without my even asking. These little acts of kindness mean so much to me. I have never experienced such thoughtful, personal service at any other hotel. This is more than just a place to stay; it is my home in Kolkata. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. I will always come back to this wonderful place, where I feel not just welcome, but genuinely cared for.

Very nicely welcomed, stayed in room 101, a small suite in the heritage building and everything at 5 star level. Food and drinks was good and serving far above normal Indian level. Only small complaint is that every time we got into our room in the afternoon to take a shower -just after having taking off the clothes off - someone rang the doorbell and asked if we were nereding anything. Chreck-out again smoothly and professionel. Definitely a place we will like to stay next time in Kolkota.

I stayed here for 10 nights. It was a lovely experience. The staff was awesome/very accommodating. I also enjoyed the spa services. The only con I can think of was choppy wifi connection. Overall a great experience and I plan to return.

We booked for 4 nights and will definitely be staying again next time we visit Kolkata. The rooms are cosy, spotlessly clean, and well appointed with any facilities you require. The staff are friendly, dedicated, and helpful. The food and drinks are also delicious. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, close to the famous bars and restaurants of Park Street.

We’re cyclists from Australia and have been travelling around the world on our bikes for 5 years. We received a wonderful welcome by the staff and everyone couldn’t do enough for us. The room was comfortable, the hotel itself had a great feel about it making us feel at home. The gym and spa were fantastic. The food was superb and so were all the wait staff. Everyone was super attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel and in such a great location too.
