Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good value. Station is across the road and the harbour just behind that,so ideal for exploring the lake and trips further afield.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was fairly comfortable and clean however, there was a bad smell coming out of the shower. It was manageable by keeping the bathroom door closed. Being across from the train station was very convenient.

Perfect hotel for my touring holiday. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Good range of food for breakfast served in the beautiful Le Marrakech restaurant salon. Sites in the historic Altstadt a short walk away. Even better for me the hotel was directly opposite the train station (routes to Switzerland and Germany),the bus station and a short walk to the harbour (for ships to Mainau Island and Bodensee towns). The room i chose was comfortable but quite basic. A kettle or coffee maker and supplies would have been a welcome addition. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend Hotel Malm.

Hotel Halm is a lovely place to stay in central Konstanz. The WiFi in our room was a bit unstable. Everything else was close to perfection during my stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The check-in staff was outstanding! They went out of their way to welcome us and make our check-in easy! The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and plenty of pillows. Any time we had a request for ice or any other item needed for us in our room, they were at our door within 5 minutes. The best thing is the hotel is located around 75 feet in front of the train station.

Hotel Halm is a great hotel in konstanz

Lovely hotel. Reception staff. Courteous and efficient. Room great. Air conditioning was a relief due to high summer temps. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Well worth the money. Hotel exceptionally clean. Downside.... bar service poor, slow, did not give a receipt at end of evening despite asking for one. Resorted to demanding receipt. This was disappointing as it is a Lovely hotel.

Impossible to sleep

The hotel is very dated. However the main issue was lack of sleep, the room was swelteringly hot - no A/C and told not to open windows due to insects. The was no view apart from a large kitchen chimney - creating dreadful food smells. Staff didn’t care. This was room 117 - avoid in all circumstances.

Disappointed

The room was ok but the bed was not comfortable. There was a mix up with our room because I had done two separate bookings and they had put us in the wrong room. We didn’t want to change half way the so just put up with it. They give you a welcome drink but you only have a choice of Prosecco or water. The location is great.
