The biggest issue was that this is not a 2 bedroom apartment, it is a small 1 bedroom apartment with a double bed. When searching I had even used Expedia's filter function to only include 2 bedroom apartments. The people who it belonged to were a charming couple who went out of their way to help us. "Really lovely stay at Port 9. We went at the end of the season so there was no entertainment and the pools were a little cold (which was a surprise) but the sea was swimmable, sheltered and calm and the food was delicious. The staff work super hard and it was a great place to decompress. Consideration is also given to the environment which we appreciated. The old town is walking distance or a 3 euro ferry taxi ride away."

One small suggestion: it would be even better if an iron and ironing board were available in the room for guests to use. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would be happy to stay here again!"

"Overall a great place. This is an older building that has been well maintained. But as a 1970s building it is showing its age and era of architecture. On the flip side, it was much less expensive than most hotels we have stayed at on this trip and as a result there seem to be more locals, which was refreshing. The waterfront beach area is fantastic. Our bathroom light only worked intermittently but no big deal. A nice relaxing small town location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist cities. Breakfasts were good and outdoor seating very pretty."

"Phenomenal! Exceeded all expectations on every level. We travel the world and this is definitely one of the Top 10 for us. From being picked up at the port to check in to the baggage handling. The room looked like no one had ever stayed in it. Extremely clean and updated. The bed was so comfortable. Our view was magical. The location is perfect. Very walkable. But their people made it the best. Every single encounter was warm and friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Don’t sleep in and miss it!"
