"Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. "Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option)."

"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."
