Very pleasant building, cool and peaceful with good decor. Spotlessly clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The shower was the best I have had in many a hotel. The breakfast was huge and varied with some very high-quality items. Squeeze your own fresh orange juice was a nice touch.

We loved staying here close to everything.Only a 10 min walk to the ferry terminal.The room was fabulous and the best choice of breakfast.Great view off the harbour so pretty at night.The window was really big.The rooftop bar was nice also.

Lovely hotel and perfect location, but missed a warm connection The hotel is in a wonderful spot, just a stone's throw from Kunstsilo and Odderøya. The public areas looked so beautiful, and the cleanliness was absolutely excellent—compliments to the cleaning staff! As a traveler, I always look forward to my trips and love connecting with the people I meet. For me, a hotel should feel like a "home away from home" where you are greeted with an outgoing attitude and a friendly smile. After passing through the reception four times during the weekend, I just felt a lack of that natural warmth. Even though I know some hotels are in different price ranges, a smile and a welcoming energy don't cost anything. The hotel is great, but the front desk has a little way to go on the hospitality side to make guests feel truly welcome!

Very friendly hotel. Staff 5 star . Breakfast served only till 10am but was very good choice offered. Location good apart from noise from the container port next door and loud until after 2am at least one night and early every morning, due to this we would not stay again.

The room was clean, we requested a standard bed and got to twin beds. The hotel is centrally located and the area is walkable. A lot of food options but dinner lacked flavor, breakfast was good.

We loved the location. We came by bus and the hotel was very close to the bus terminal. We also took a island hopping cruise that was very close by, a two minute walk. Downtown was a little farther but very close also. My only complaint was bartenders would only make drinks listed on the drinks menu. I’m 67 and have never been to a bar that doesn’t make Bloody Marys.
