Nothing on Hotel.com prepares you for the fact that you need to book in to another hotel's reception nor that when you try to do so the receptionist will deny knowing anything about the procedure. Nor will you know that, when you phone the hotel, they will sigh in exasperation that you cannot speak German and that they will be pretty rude to you. "Great location with the bus stop and supermarket nearby. The room and overall building was very clean and modern, as well as having a very affordable price. We are happy to have found this place and will most likely stay again whenever we are in Nitra. The only downside was the AC not working but luckily opening the windows cooled down the room enough. Maybe some amenities in the bathroom would be nice too, but overall a brilliant stay."

"As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again."
