"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. 10/10 Excellent

Delightful stays. First I stayed several nights in a hotel cell room, small but adequate and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet and delicious evening dining outside. Slept great once I took comforter out of duvet covering so did not overheat. Easy walk to bus stop and to train/subway station. Perfect location for getting on the water (via the canal) to standup paddle board (I travel with my own compact inflatable) around the islands and lake but also kayak rental close by. Couple...
