โKitchen facilities were great. Security was great. The pools were fantastic. Beds were a bit soft. The light from outside the property made me wake up throughout the night as I thought it was morning all of the time.โ
โBooked a single cabin and talk about beachfront it was 2 steps and onto beach. Little bit of traffic noise due to highway outside but shut cabin up and was good. Swim off the beach or fish or just sit back and catch the sun. Book in was easy and reception was so nice and knew the area wellโฆ Thank youโ
โGreat quiet location. Clean, functional property. A few loose fittings here and there but all the important stuff is good. If anything the walls are pretty thin so if complete privacy is desired then maybe not for you. The communal facilities and pool are great we had a great time. โ
โThe motel staff are fantastic. Some minor issues with answering phone. But most of the time they ring back.. other times not. Understand busy times are crazy in peak periods. But over I would recommend the motel โ
"Positive Experience:
This was my third time staying at this hotel in Cairns, and once again, it was a pleasant experience overall. I arrived early in the morning, and a kind Japanese staff member at the front desk went out of their way to assist me with an early check-in for an additional fee. Thanks to them, I was able to settle in comfortably after a long flight.
Moreover, as I had requested in advance, I was given a room at the corner side with the best view, which I truly appreciated. It made my stay even more enjoyable.
Areas for Improvement:
However, there were a few disappointing aspects during this visit.
Firstly, the shower gel in the bathroom was completely empty, with only a bit of water left inside. Iโm not sure whether the previous guest used it all or took it, but it seemed the housekeeping staff had not checked or refilled it before my arrival. This is something that definitely needs more attention.
Secondly, after checking out the next day, I was informed that my swimming trunks had been blown off and had fallen to a lower level. When I asked about retrieving them, I was simply told that it was difficult since check-ins were ongoing. The response felt rather dismissive.
