Lovely stay in a beautiful town

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Ryokan Kurashiki. The food was delicious and building beautiful, and we had a lovely private bath experience. The staff was extremely helpful and nice.

二度目の滞在でしたが、高齢の両親とともにでしたので、こちらに余裕がなく、なかなかゆっくりとはいきませんでした。お料理やお部屋のしつらえは前回同様、大変素晴らしいと感じました。部屋内の冷蔵庫は、フリードリンクでしたが、前泊者の方のものでしょうか、飲みかけののものが入っていたのが少し残念でした…。旅館の方も、とても気さくで、よくして頂きました。

Terrific location, right on the canal, in the heart of this quaint district in Kurashiki. The meals are included, and are not to be missed. As a couple, we appreciated the private onsen. Make sure you spend a half day each at the Ohara Museum and up on the hill with the temples and shrines. We took another day to go to Himeji and back; the castle and gardens are a quick train ride away, and are both spectacular.

部屋の調度品や備品等のしつらえのセンスが良く、細かいところまで気遣いがされていて、素晴らしいと思いました。食事も、素材の鮮度がよく、味付けも大変美味しかったです。生物が食べれない事を事前に伝えておりませんでしたが、その場で別のものに変えるなど、臨機応変な対応をして下さり、感激しました。高価なお宿でしたが、総合的に見ても、値段に見合ったものだと思われます。

非常值得一住的具歴史古旅館！

旅館位置超好，房間窗戶可看見倉敷川，很有特色。服務人員熱情和善，讓人有家的溫暖感受。有古屋之歷史但其中旅館設施非常現代化，家人非常享受這些設備。除了房間內的浴池外，我們也使用了預約之大浴池。食物食材非常好及新鮮，早午餐非常美味，家人都讃不絶口！

とても居心地の良い旅館でした。 温泉ではなかったですが、お部屋のヒノキ風呂もヒノキの香りたっぷりで、何度も入ってしまいました。 ただ、おふろとトイレの間仕切りが透明なガラスだったため、お風呂に入っている人がいると、トイレにいけない・・・という状況が何度かありました。（４人でとまったから余計二だったのかもしれませんが）

倉敷の美観地区に宿泊出来るので、観光客の少ない時間帯の雰囲気を味わえます

宿のロケーションは倉敷の美観地区の中という最高の立地。建物は江戸時代の豪商のお屋敷という情緒がたっぷり。お部屋はきちんとリノベーションされていて、清潔で空調もきっちり完備でした。90歳と87歳の両親を連れての宿泊でしたが、お部屋の間取りは、2名ずつを洋室と和室に振り分ける事が出来て、2間の間に廊下と坪庭が設えられているタイプのお部屋でしたので、私達の希望にピッタリでした。調度品にも建物にふさわしい趣があり、アメニティグッズも上質でした。スタッフも親切で、川舟の予約の為、代わりに窓口に並んで乗船券を手配して下さいました。お食事も美味しかったです。宿泊グループ単位で土鍋でご飯を炊いて下さっていて、夕食時には炊き込みご飯を、朝食時には”おこげ”も楽しめました。温泉旅館ではないので、大浴場が無い事だけが、ちょっとした残念ポイントです。でもそんな小さな事は、気にならない位に旅情を感じる事が出来る良いお宿でした。外国の方にはホントにおススメできると思います。もちろん日本人でもくつろげます。

Stunning Ryokan in beautiful old quarter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Ryokan Kurashiki, so much in fact that we would have liked to stay an extra night. The ryokan, staff, rooms and traditional meals were exemplary. Each room is unique and we were lucky enough to stay in Inui which had a view of the town and canal. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
