Minh, Long, Mimi and the rest of the staff seem to be made for this job. My stay could not have been more comfortable and their happy, outgoing attitude was a complete joy.

Not in walking distance to ferry as advertised. Had to take the shuttle but was only available in the mornings. Otherwise had to take a taxi to hotel. It was also attached to a bicycle racing track with betting, Keirin, an Olympic sport invented by the Japanese. The hotel onsen closed when the competitors were on site— one of the few amenities in this minimalist hotel. It is not a good place from which to visit the art island of Naoshima. Net time, I will definitely stay there. The hotel was expensive for where it was and the few amenities that were available.

As described, easy to access, even with a late check-in. Quiet, enjoyable place for a stop on the way to other destinations.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Would be good to have simple cooking amenities like cooking oil, salt, pepper. Was only sent the unlocking number after I messaged (did not receive an email that was supposed to be sent 24 hrs before check-in). Location instructions was unclear from the booking confirmation, only managed to find accommodation after host contacted via whatsapp.
