Had a wonderful stay at the Gion Elite Terrace! Lots of great amenities (the washing machines and dryer were lifesavers) and the super friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering recommendations, arranging for taxis, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property with a super spacious room! The staff were so kind and accommodated our late check-in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved our bathroom that included a sauna and an oxidized bathtub. Super close to all the main sites and metros, we walked more than anything else. 10/10 would stay here again!

Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, we didn’t want to leave. Spacious, beautiful appointed, sauna, oxygen spa bath. Spotlessly clean with helpful fabulous staff. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was by far the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. Our room included a private bath, garden, and sauna—it felt like our own little sanctuary. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and every detail of the room was beautifully designed. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee, matcha, and other thoughtful touches. They even gifted us a beautiful locally made tote bag that supports a great cause—such a special gesture. We truly wish we had stayed longer and highly, highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back!
