Friendly staff and easy check in. Room on the 5th floor was fantastic - spacious, an incredibly comfortable bed, and we loved being able to warm up and relax with hot baths after busy days of exploring Kyoto. The hotel is in a great location, close to metro trains and other great spots to eat and drink. Highly recommended.

This was a great place to stay. The hotel is beautiful and quaint. The rooms are good size and nicely decorated and functional. The breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I would very much recommend this place. It is close to everything!

Great hotel! Rooms were clean and beds were sooooo comfortable. Location is near many stations (shijo-Gion to the south and Sanjo to the north). Close to the river and other historic neighbourhoods. Honestly an ideal home base for your Kyoto adventure. Staff is attentive and friendly and the hotel and area are quiet. We didn’t opt for the Japanese style breakfast but we saw them in the morning and they looked good.

It was clean updated room and decent size. Nice ac because I’m always hot! Luggage forwarding the best option and less than 30 US dollars. Wish I had stayed here and done day trips to Osaka.
