We had stayed in this property 6 years ago just after it had first opened. Coming back we were pleasantly surprised that it was still a really great and it was almost like new. The staff were really helpful with restaurant bookings and general advice. It’s also great to have the onsen inside the hotel after a long days walking. I would easily recommend to people visiting Kyoto.

Great location. Decent breakfast, served until 11am which is nice. The Premiere King Room is quite small. Maid service only if you stay longer than 3 days. There are no drawers, closets or places to put your luggage or clothes. There is no space between the bed and the wall so you have to crawl in and out of bed….not something I have often encountered. Seems a bit expensive for this setup. Check out the competition in the area before booking.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is very convenient with easy access to subway lines that take you to Kyoto station. This is very important as it is not possible to take large luggage with you on the local buses. It close to Gion and many restaurants.

Great place near gion, train stations. Staff is friendly! They do yamato transport for luggages as well. Our room had everything we needed. They even gave complimentary face masks and moisturizer.
