Basic room, but well priced, has everything you need, and great location! Staff were extremely helpful and kind. It was right next to a Round1 arcade, which was very fun at the end of the night!

Good property, breakfast could have been better was very average literally just 1 item. Overall stay was good, rooms a bit small and claustrophobic however guess thats what most hotels here have. Overall pretty good stay and excellent location.

Do not stay here if you are handicap. I put in my booking that I was traveling with an elderly handicap person and the room is not accessible. There is a high step to get in and out of the bathroom and to get into the tub is also a challenge since it’s so high. Great to take a bath for someone who isn’t handicap but it was a nightmare taking a shower/ getting to the bathroom due to this. Other than that the room was ok, nice bed and in a good area. Probably wouldn’t have had a problem if I didn’t need to worry about being handicap accessible but I would definitely NOT recommend for handicap/ elderly travelers.

The bed was comfy, room was clean except there was this smell that i couldn't identify coming from the bathroom. Did not like the laundry area. Only 2 washing machines for 10 levels of guests. Every laundry time was like a war zone with everyone competing to use them.

Everything is great. The only surprise/downside was having to pay more in extra taxes in Kyoto for the hotel room. This large extra fee (nearly as much as the entire hotel cost) was not mentioned or clearly shared on the Expedia site when booking. Otherwise, it was a great stay, in a great location near lots of attractions, restaurants, & shopping areas that were within walking distance. Perfect for 1-2 people with minimal/carry-on luggage.

We had a lovely stay and the hotel is really nice, especially location and connections to all key tourist sights. The only concern I had were the very small/short pillows which made sleep very uncomfortable.

The location was well located. The room was comfy but had some high steps to get used too, which was a little annoying and the frig is tiny. We used their laundry machines which they only had 2. Couldn’t get in until midnight as a lot of people were using them. We may have had to big a load in as they took forever to dry. The staff member actually finished the drying mode for us leaving the clothes in a bag for us to pick up later, that was nice as it was now 3:00am. They only clean your room if you are there for 4 nights or more, we were there for 3. Also, to get extra towels, you had to go to the front desk to get them. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location. Excellent, compact & impeccably clean rooms. Buffet Breakfast was a little light on options but still suitable given the hotels proximity to an abundance of dining alternatives. Staff were professional and courteous. All in all, and excellent stay.
