“We were so impressed by the kindness and flexibility during our stay. They accommodated an early check-in, had all of our luggage from our previous hotel waiting in our room, and even included thoughtful touches (handwritten welcome note). The hospitality was exceptional and made this one of our favorite travel experiences. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!”

“Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa!

“I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. ”

“This is only sort of kind of the whole property, Kyoto has very strict tax laws and needs to have a front desk and therefore part of the property is that, additionally the upper floors are inhabited, but none of that matters really because of how wonderful the people and the space are.”

“Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!”

“A unique and beautiful accommodation. Lovely chambers, bathroom…, and the weaving mill also further adds to the authentic feel, Located in a quiet residential area.”

“This lovely hotel is located 2 blocks from a city bus line. There are a variety of small restaurants nearby. There is even a karaoke bar-Bar Dam-that was a blast to sing at with locals. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and I would vacation here again.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Enso, the rooms where emaculate and comfortable with all the required amenities. My favourite was the scented wooden tub to soak in after a day exploring the sites of Kyoto. We were so lucky to have the incredible staff Leo and Tetsu dealing with all our enquires and also providing us with local knowledge of places to see and eat at. Made our visit and stay in Kyoto that much more special! It is a strong recommend if you are considering staying here. It won't...
