Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
Everything went really well. The kiosk that they want you to check in at, you have to pay a tax and it didn’t take my debit card for some reason. You needed a card with a PIN. We tried 3 different people on our party, and none of our cards worked. So we were scrambling trying to find the tax money ...

Cross Hotel Kyoto
Big, clean and modern rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing and walking distance to Gion, restaurants and Nishiki area. We loved the coffee machine in the lobby too especially since we always started our day early when everything else was still closed.
