I think this was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed at many SLH's - and oasis of tranquility and calm in the historic centre of Venice - only a short very pleasant walk to St Mark's Square (through lovely shopping alleyways) - the Ai Reali is decorated in classic venetian style to a very high standard and beautifully maintained- it is palatial but understated.
The staff in all areas were most pleasant, friendly and helpful - breakfast was delicious
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Venice and hope to return in the near future and will definitely be staying in this hotel when I do return- I can't recommend it highly enough
