"Only good thing was our room was clean and the location good. Breakfast was edible but even rating it good would be a giant stretch. No screens on our window which they said they would provide and never did. Lots of bugs. And then to top it off overcharged us on our rooms. There are other options I would choose next time."

"Very comfortable bed, cute decor, but the lights rarely worked or if they did they were very dim and flickered constantly, we had to use our headlamps in the bathroom for light. There was also quite big ant problem, primarily in the bathroom and shower, occasionally on the counter and the bed. The pool and cafe were great and the staff was wonderful. I booked through Expedia and received several messages saying they only accept cash payment, either in USD or QTZ, not fond of carrying that much extra cash as this was the last stop on our trip to Guatemala, but on arrival credit card was accepted which was a bit frustrating since repeated communication between myself and the property said only cash."

"Very nice hotel is in a convenient location in San Marcos close enough to the main road and the public dock. Solid restaurant and good customer service. Meals were good if not great. Scenic view of the lake. They did a nice job putting together transportation and activities for our visit. Just be aware that because it is in town you may hear some sounds like music and dogs close to bedtime but never after 10pm. I would stay again. "

"Amazing location and room! It was perfect for everything you need. Having the second floor with a little balcony made it feel like you were in the jingle. The doors open all the way and it’s like indoor outdoor living. Absolutely perfect!"

"Unfortunately a very disappointing stay, the music from the bar across the street (Sublime) was so loud it took me hours to fall asleep every night and really ruined the stay. I wish there had been more disclosure of this upfront. Would not come back"

"NO FITNESS CENTER (as advertised). The Bad: construction all around hotel, extra firm bed, no hot shower and dogs barking all night. The Good: Staff, clean room and excellent location."
