Great place to stay, friendly and very attentive staff. Great facilities and food, only things that could be improved is the hot drinks as the coffee isnt the best. Could also look at turning the volume up on the TVs for the football matches or providing a designated area for this as it was always busy but lacked atmosphere with no sound !

Lovely complex with lots of pools not too far to walk into town and beach. Activities available on site such as aquafit, Zumba, Volleyball Gym, sauna and massages Food ok lots of choice not cordon bleu but fine, wine sangria and beer freely available. The Nubium restaurant open 3x a week is well worth a visit food really good but only get one visit per stay

Overall a great stay

We had a great stay here, late Sept 2023. We stayed for 5 nights. The food at the restaurant was always good, with plenty of choices and theme nights. The oriental night food was especially nice. The entertainment, especially the quiz, was good too. The pools are good size and we didn’t struggle to get a lounger any day. The resort is a bit difficult to get around and would benefit with a bit more signage, and more knowledge on what is available to guests.

Bathroom needed a good wipe over but rest was clean. The breakfast and lunch was good but the evening buffet was dreadful. Dried up and stale foid reheated from lunch I assume. The beer was lovely but the other alcoholic drinks and cocktails were very poor.

Great place to visit with children. We had a great time. Short ride a beautiful beach. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, food was great too. If you just want to relax and let your children run free this is the place.

Grey nomads go upmarket

It probably exceded our expectations the food and service was very good upgrading to my favourite club was a good move,the gym was adequate but the wellness centre needs some TLC broken beds and plunge pool and a broken water dispenser but all in all a good experience.

We have been coming to this place since about a decade. While it is noticeable that COVID and the global economic crisis have forced the administration to cut back on some services that made the former "Atlantis" an outstanding facility the rooms are still fabulous, food choices varied and delicious, and the proximity to Coralejo and the dunes perfect.

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff!

This is a beautiful hotel, very well run with amazing staff and lovely surrounds. The rooms are large, spacious and spotlessly clean, and bathrooms are a very generous size too. The grounds are attractive and well kept, and really nice to walk around to enjoy the scenery and the natural beauty. This is predominantly a hotel guide for families with kids, but there are definitely areas where you can find peace and quiet, especially the Plaza pool where the setting is peaceful and idyllic. The food and drinks were fine, the wine on tap works too! It’s the staff that really make the hotel experience, all of them friendly and happy with a smile on their face and a greeting for you. Special thanks to Luisa on reception and to Georgia on Guest services who were both engaging and delightful.

Alua Suites, Fuerteventura

Hotel is somewhat dated. ‘Spa’ not a spa but 2 saunas … Big empty bath tub that looks like a jacuzzi but empty and was told just a bath .. but not working, ‘out of order ‘ signs on one sauna for some of the days, water machine , lockers also out of order. When put to manager, he said ‘comes down to definition of Spa’. Well if all you’re offering is a sauna , say something. Don’t advertise ‘Spa’ incl on big rollups in reception lobby - see image . Gym nice but one bike has missing pedal straps. WiFi effectively not working in rooms .. and surprised to find layout of hotel effectively as terraced houses ..not part of main building . Not nice for solo women travellers. ‘Junior suite’ ok but no more and coffee /tea not refilled. Food of mediocre quality and no really nice place to chill .. main chill area by restaurant feels like a canteen.. /on a boat .. + bar in reception area. travelled round the world and stayed in many 4 star hotels . This one really struggles to be more than 3. Upside: staff lovely, big resort, lots of places to choose from and great activity programme, Dutch animation team lady great , entertainment good - Saturday singer Nikki fantastic and when shared feedback w management was offered access to VIP club.. I left after 7 days and moved to other hotel nearby .. had enough when WiFi key cutting out and nothing was done despite ‘we’ll send a technician to the room’ . Disappointing experience. Some way from the experience I’d been sold on here

Er was veel lawaai, elke ochtend waren de zonnebedjes al vol, alle handdoeken lagen er al op, terwijl er een briefje aanhing dat dit niet mocht. Jammer. Verder was het heel netjes, aardig personeel. De animatie had iets zachter gemogen, net als de muziek, dit ging de hele dag door bij het zwembad, wat heel luid stond.
