The honesty of staff, I left my safe unlocked and our housekeeper reported it to security. They came in and secured our valuables and assigned a new code. Which was then retrieved directly from security. The overall attentiveness of staff at front desk was also great for a speedy check in.

We rented a two bedroom unit (really two one bedroom units connected by a short hallway) with our 21 year-old triplets. It was a perfect setup for us. This property was beautiful. Had a great time. Just be aware that there is a free shuttle into town that is not ran by the resort but by a jewelry store. When they get you into town they take you directly to the store. Try and sell you things. Before you can leave for your shopping in town.

This is the perfect place to have an ocean view room that is beautifully done. The hotel doesn’t offer a ton of amenities, but it’s in a great location on a beautiful beach. Come here to enjoy time with a partner, have access to beach restaurants and activities and rent a car to explore the island. Our concierge, Junior, was amazing and saved us by getting our passports to us after we had already arrived to the airport!

Had an excellent stay, great place to relax and enjoy the island especially the attraction of the planes landing and taking off at Maho.

Horrible parking

First time to the island. This resort was absolutely beautiful. Two areas for sun and beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas, water sports… we never had to wake up super early to get a chair which was awesome! Third stay in St Maarten/Martin since 1993. By far the nicest hotel of my 3 stays. While not directly on a beach, a short drive to Orient, or across the street to Dawn Beach at the Westin. We were on the upper level, building B and had a great view of the ocean across the street. Actually you can drove about anywhere on the island in 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. The staff is polite helpful patient and happy. Keith at Carambola restaurant was exceptional. The pastry Chef came herself to discuss our gluten free need for the dessert. Everyone was accommodating. The rental car seemed to have stalled, the valet staff went above and beyond to help restart. While checking out the manager was courteous and handled everything with well. The hotel was clean, no sand on the floors.

We stayed for 5 nights and loved the hotel but what made the stay so special was the quality of the service from Marion Idalia and the entire staff They were amazing so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Location was great, right on Maho beach and close to shops and restaurants. Other beaches accessible by foot or car. Resort staff friendly and helpful.

Too many details to mention from the private jacuzzi to concierge services provided by Pauline. Beautiful interiors, comfortable beds. Gated neighborhood 5 minutes on foot to Orient Bay beaches and restaurants. Good old fashioned bed and breakfast atmosphere. Oh!! The amazing, not-to-miss breakfast! Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel L'Esplanade for a week! And it was out first time here on the French side and we enjoyed it a lot. My husband and I just came back from this resort. We spent 6 days and I will share my honest experience during the time there. Upon arrival, we were taken to the Adults Only (AO) which is what I booked since that's my preference. There is a Family Resort (FR) in the front of the AO resort. Had a short staycation here (I live in Anguilla) and I loved it. Originally booked it because the description said there was a bathtub, which turned out to be false (discussed with the hotel via text beforehand) and considered cancelling but I'm so glad I kept the reservation. Great location close to the airport, bus route, beach, supermarket, several restaurants, and great property overall.
