Hotel has the perfect location, rooms immaculate as is the hotel, gardens and pool. Staff were very proffessional and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We love Villa Svizzera

The staff, from reception to the restaurant manager and his team, and last but by no means least, the amazing housekeeping team made our 2nd stay as unforgettable as our 1st for all the right reasons. Everyone takes pride in their role. We had great food and a relaxing break. When our return flight was cancelled on our final evening reception were able to accommodate us for an extra night and rearrange our transfer for our new departure date which took a great deal of stress out of the situation.

This was my second time at this property since I am genuinely fond of this hotel. The room was perfect however this time it was overlooking the main road so it was a bit noisier. The rooms overlooking the back garden are far quieter. Unfortunately we felt the bar-man at the pool was extremely rude and unpleasant. We are not sure why such a personality would be placed in such a position and felt disappointed by his attitude. Otherwise we would still like to return here when back in Ischia.

This was our seventh holiday to Ischia and the third consecutive year that we have stayed at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera. The staff team, from housekeeping, to reception, to the restaurant, cannot be faulted and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. We stay half board as the food is great. I particularly enjoy the fish dishes and the Ischian rabbit, and there are options that would suit most people. We saw people that stayed at the same time as us last year so the hotel is clearly doing something right. There is a wonderful shaded, seated area next to the outdoor pool that is perfect for simply relaxing or reading books and an outdoor bar to keep you hydrated. There are plenty of sun loungers around the outdoor pool and gardens. The indoor thermal pool is around 38 degrees and is great for tender joints. When you have done relaxing, Lacco Ameno is a 2min walk from the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel entrance and over the road, as well as a taxi rank for when you want to explore further afield. Reception can arrange your airport transfer which takes the stress out of using a third party. Are we returning to Ischia next year? Yes. Will we stay at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera? Most definitely!

Very helpful staff. Arranged trips for us and couldn't have been more helpful. The thermal pool was divine. Good continental breakfast. All round lovely location and great place to stay. Highly recommend. Other tips not related to hotel was the overpricing of the taxi drivers. Not consistent and very expensive indeed! Charged 30 euros for a short drive to the port which was around a mile away. Plus between 15 and 20 euros to go less than 2 miles to other places.

Perfect Stay

This was our fifth visit to the island of Ischia, and we loved the hotel. The hotel staff were fantastic and the quality of the food was excellent. The restaurant manager and his team are absolutely first class. There is a great selection of wines available. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed including a great air conditioning unit and mini-fridge. There is ample seating both inside and outside the hotel and plenty of sun loungers around the pool and in the gardens. The outside pool is a heated saltwater pool and the indoor thermal pool was around 36 degrees with a number of jets to massage aching joints. The location is perfect and when you want to explore there are bus stops and taxis outside of the hotel. We booked our transfers through the hotel and everything worked seamlessly. We'll be returning next year

Excellent séjour à Ischia

Très bon accueil et service par Luigi avec de bons conseils des choses à faire et des restaurants. L’hotel et les chambres sont très propre. Le seul petit aspect négatif est la climatisation dans les chambres qui est vieillissante et ne fonctionne pas très bien. La piscine extérieure est très agréable pour se relaxer au soleil. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et complets.

Tutto eccellente! La posizione è perfetta con fermate del bus proprio davanti l'horel. Si mangia benissimo, la piscina e tutta la struttura sono tenuti benissimo e si sta meravigliosamente bene. Ti organizzano qualunque cosa, dai mororini alle gite in barca. E lo staff è superlativo per gentilezza e professionalità. Lo consiglio a tutti, a persone di ogni età. Grazie di tutto.
