"Room was ok, there was a smoke stain above the fireplace, water stains on the ceiling and a brown water stain in the hot tub. It was enjoyable though you can feed the deer and play some games with your lover dinner Saturday night was delicious but not so much Sunday night! We didn’t use the pool but looked nice. We had fun on the hiking trail even though it’s was a little muddy and wet as the snow had just melted. Trivia games at spooners were fun! All in all the place definitely has a distinctive feel and look, it was a nice little get away for us. "

"Super clean! Breakfast great! The only problem was that I went from far and pick this hotel mainly because on the heated pool , on phone they told me the pool was around 82/88 and didn’t happen when I was there. I was sad and since the kids were skiing all day that was the only thing we were going to do sit by the pool but couldn’t put my feet inside. Super cold and I was super desapointed. So if you go for the pool forget it. Pick a different place but every thing else was good."

"Room was average. Setting is more like an apartment than a hotel. It was clean and furnishings were updated. There is a physical key to your room door and also for front door late at night. Room includes a free drink and allowance for breakfast at adjacent venues. There is live music on weekend evenings. The best part is the scenery in the back area where there are waterfalls. However, in the winter months, it’s frozen and slippery. It was a stop over for us, so I probably won’t ever be back. "

"There were activities for all ages, especially kids which was a great plus. The resort is a bit secluded and we wish there could have been more options for eating. We placed a room delivery order from one of the on site restaurants which did not arrive for more than 90 minutes. I had to go pick it up and the food was cold by then. They were nice enough to give few add ons for free. The resort was may be 25 % occupied and they could have given us a better room, but they gave us a room which was on the farthest side of the building. We stayed for 3 nights so I thought we deserved a bit better. "

"An excellent getaway location for ending February. Easy to travel to. Low traffic. Great location among the trees. Loved the sunrise view and listening to winter critters. Very spacious and calming facility. Enjoyed our room. It was comfortable for myself and my companion who is 6’ 2”. Loved the soft water showers. Bathroom had hair dryer and makeup mirror. Soft bed. We could access the deck from our room. Breakfast was excellent which included scones, roasted potatoes, fluffy egg scramble, biscuits and fruit. There is an excellent self serve coffee/tea bar. Juices and mimosas were also available. Breakfast was served in the enclosed porch that has a fireplace. Puzzles and games available set around to keep you occupied. You can feel the joy the hosts, Lisa and Dante want to share with the guests. Excellent dream in motion. "
