“It is a great price with attached restaurant and bar. However, it is in the middle of no where.”

“This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. “A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.”

“Rooms need a bit of maintenance.. Toilet roll holder, basin tap & shower all loose .. Staff were lovely but from the minute we arrived we were told the restaurant and bar shut early. Why ? Our table was at 5 pm and we felt rushed !! Shame.”

“A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

“Staff were great and breakfast was very good. Various little maintenance issues with the room (safe didn't work, various lights not working, mixer tap faulty so no cold water available). If the maintenance were sorted it would easily be rated excellent as the staff were great.”

“Don't go there! Booked a room at The Savoy but was marched five doors down to a slum formerly called The Birchfield (name now covered up with sticky tape). TV hanging off the wall, curtains falling away, disgusting bathroom. One to avoid.”

“Let us check in an hour earlier due to a long drive which was extremely helpful, the room was clean and bigger than expected. Found at checkout you can pay £5 to gain access to the neighbouring hotels pool and sauna which would have been good to know at check in. Will stay again.”

“The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent.
