"The property reminded me of Bates hotel. The rooms were filthy. The floors look like they haven’t been swept or moped in years. The bathroom was horrible. The toilet or the sink looked like it had never been cleaned in years. Pictures online were very misleading and not accurate at all."
"The hotel would of been great at 100$ a night but the price I paid was a bit much for a hotel in Palatka room and bathroom was just ok breakfast was good over all it was just good would of been great for a lil bit cheaper price seemed kinda pricey for
Palatka fl the Otis spunkmeyer cookies were a nice touch though"
"Second time staying here. Very good stay. Clean room and friendly front desk staff. I travel with a small dog and great location with sidewalks down the street for walking him. Not right on I-75 but just a short distance off the highway."
Holiday Inn Gainesville - University Center by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"This hotel needs renovation and updates to their Air conditioners. You can smell mold the second you open the rooms doors. The AC units are from the 19th century that are so so so loud that you can’t sleep at all, and barely work. We had to keep our room’s door open from couple hours to cool down. It was hot and humid and moldy. This hotel takes advantage of its location to charge so much !! Will never stay there again!!!"
"I have stayed at BW Waldo twice yearly for the last ten years and have enjoyed my visits. Good breakfast and the staff is always accommodating. But this year was a big disappointment in as for the three days I was there, THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. It didn't matter as to the time of day or night, there was never any hot water. I complained to both house keeping and the desk management but to no avail. House Keeping mentioned something about a problem with a pilot light, but obviously everyone knew there was a problem but didnt seem to have a solution. Greatly disappointed and will need to consider other properties in the future
