"I thought it was nicely decorated. Linen's were clean, beds were comfortable. They offer breakfast we did not partake due to other plans. The coffee offered in lobby is good enough I drank 3 cups and I am not a big coffee drinker. I was not dissatisfied with our stay here. I will admit part of the reason I chose this location was the fact that they had a hot tub/Jacuzzi. It would have been great after traveling long hours in a vehicle. It was closed for the season. I do not recall it being mentioned. I have been to many places it normally only applies to the pool if outdoors. The room was clean and plenty of towel and clean bathroom. The mini fridge worked well but every time I tried to open it I had to hold on to it so it didn't pull right out of the cabinet. Maybe secure it. A small inconvenience. Overall I would stay there again. The service was good and honest. There is a deposit of $50 as a hold on your card. At check. I think it's silly..."

"Our stay at Day Inn was ok. The room was clean although warm as the ac was not going when we checked in. It did cool down fairly quickly. We reserved two rooms with the intention of the second room being a double queen but they didn’t have any available due to renovations. That was not listed disclosed anywhere."

"The Inn on the River is centrally located in Glen Rose's historic downtown, so rather than being in a hotel on the noisy Hwy 67, you get a more relaxing stay. The Inn is also a quiet oasis because its property slopes down to the Paluxy river. Its restaurant and bar are another nice feature. If you travel with a pet, then you can find a no more dog-friendly place than The Inn on the River. "
