"Loved this place nestled in the woods and alongside the Johnston Canyon which happens to be a gorgeous trail to waterfalls. The cabins were so cute! Pleasing, clean, comfy and rustic. Staff were just lovely and so willing to help or share tips. A totally great and unexpectedly wonderful stay!! Highly recommended!!!"

"The location was fantastic. Cabin 25 needs some work on the entrance and is worn down with a broken threshold and scratched doors. The lake gets much quieter after the day trippers go home which makes the stay worthwhile. The food was outstanding. Some TLC would make this a better overall rating."

"Great stay for 6 ngt on Annv vacation. Stayed in king suite. Very roomy, bed comfortable, liked the balcony and fireplace. Room attendant did an amazing job every day!! Only and biggest complaint was terrible cheap coffee in the rooms with no coffee available in lobby either. Had to walk to coffee shop every morning. Thankfully I enjoyed cool air and walk, but always nice to enjoy a cup of coffee relaxing in the hotel room before starting the day!!"

"The service and care of everyone I came across during my stay was fantastic. Sarah at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful! In addition, The Basin was an amazing experience. This was a special trip for me. I took it solo after my fiancé passed. I was nervous it wouldn’t live up to the hype. However, the views, the staff, and the overall experience did not disappoint."

"Rooms were nice and quite spacious. Quality for price was good. The shuttle to town was helpful. However, if you're a hiker, breakfast and the shuttle started way too late in the morning. A decent cup of coffee at 6am would have been nice ( the coffee in the room was awful)."
