We have stayed here several times and the property is really tired. The building needs a refresh, the stairs need work, there is no air conditioning so the room was uncomfortable in the evening and the breakfast is gone. It's really convenient to the restaurants and Common Beach which is the main thing going for the hotel.

The location and view of the lake from the 7th floor was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was very dissapointing that the level of maintenance was very poor. The room was clean however the curtains were frayed, the wall paper was peeling in many places and the toilet rocked when used. The water pressure in the shower was low and made it difficult to wash the soap out of my hair. I hope they are planning some renovations since it would be a great place to stay otherwise.

The pepper tree has definitely seen better days and is very tired and run down. The property in general is in very poor condition, however my room was clean and the staff were helpful and accommodating. There is no A/C in the rooms.

Expedia info is outdated when I searched up motels. It showed they had a pool, it was filled with dirt, in every aspect of the motel things were deteriorating and they are understaffed. Motel has 2 redeeming things going for it the desk agent Casy was very helpful and the location was convenient

We tried to check in at 6:25 pm.on a Friday night. We were tired and hungry and just wanted to unpack and go to dinner. At the reception desk was a note that said "At lunch, back at 6:55". When I asked her later, when she got back about not having a backup staff, she just looked at me and said ",nope, " Rooms are clean, but elevator area needs repair of tiles and pine needles swept. It does have a great view of the lake. If you get on floors four and above. I might mention that alaska last month. When we were there, there was fires near reno. And all the electricity got shut off. The motel does not have backup batteries, so there was nothing. And we had to use the stairs and flashlights thank god power came on at one a m before we were to check out the next day.

Best place to stay within a full easy walk down town. With a golf course, zip line,hike and bike trail system, and a 100 yrd walk across the street to take a swim in the lake. Come start here to support your north lake experiences.!!
