"The location can't be beat especially for the price. My biggest issue was the inability to control the room temperature at all. It was very mild and even warm during our stay and we couldn't even crack a window. The beds were comfortable and the staff was kind. It is a on older hotel and the hallways tell the tale but the room was great."

"Hotel itself was very clean - rooms large and very nice. Very easy to check in. Close to Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium. Pool water was ice cold and hot tub had way too much chemicals in it."

"This is a great hotel. Excellent staff, cleanliness is superior and the location is perfect. I will be staying there again!"

"there was an altercation in the room next-door to us late Saturday night. Someone kept getting slammed up against our commondoor. There was shouting and cursing, and I could hear one guy say "I'm not going back to jail". The staff on duty and I both called the police. The group cleared out of the room after the staff. Member knocked and asked them to keep it down. Probably they were worried about getting arrested so they left voluntarily."

"When I first got to the hotel to see if there was an early check in had to wait 15 mins at the front desk for someone to help. My room did not get cleaned and nothing got restocked I stayed there for 2 nights. There was a chair in the room that had a broken leg which was concerning. "

"This was such a beautiful hotel! We loved the options in the lobby for food- including gluten free options! The hotel was clean and easy to navigate. I wish they would have had parking options!"
