"This day was a basic day, not bad, when they came and cleaned our room, they happen to grab a swimsuit that was brand new and that night they were not able to find it and we spent a week trying to figure out where it was, the staff at the counter was rude for the evening every night, the morning staff was amazing and tried to help, "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this location. The rooms were very clean and fully stocked with the basic items we would need. The beds were very comfortable, and the street view was great for my small children who enjoyed watching all of the cars and people walking by! The breakfast provided in the mornings were delicious and appealed to all in my group (we have a member with Celiac who was able to eat with no problem). The staff were all very happy and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again for future visits to DC! "

"The Riggs is one of my favorite hotels in DC. The ONLY complaint I have is that if you’re going through menopause or perimenopause and hot flashes are your enemy, they put an automatic cap on the AC and you will FRY at night. Me and my girls went from polar bears during the day to Heatmeiser at night and it as not fun. Other than that, it was great. Also, still couldn’t get into the lounge even though I tried to reserve in advance. But there’s so much to do in the area, we weren’t hurting. "

"Place is nice and clean and beautiful. There was no mini fridge in my room or microwave or drinks. They offer water at the desk though. They have valet parking but it’s a bit expensive at $59 a night. WiFi is free. Staff is nice. I’d stay again. "
