We had a lovely 6 day stay at the Manoir de Contres this week. The Manoir is beautiful, our room was cool (v effective aircon) and comfortable, and the food was delicious (4 course dinner each night). We very much appreciated the kindness and good company of our hosts Victor and Maria. We will recommend Le Manoir de Contres to all our friends.

Manoir de Contres is located close to many of the most important chateaux in the Loire valley. Victor and Marie are charming hosts. They provided a nice typical simple French breakfast for 8 euros

Un charmant endroit en terre solognote.

Court mais très agréable séjour d’une nuitée. Arrivée tardive suite à une avarie mécanique. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons eu avant le coucher nos assiettes foie gras, fromage et vin en consolation. Le tout dans un cadre charmant. Confort de chambre parfait. Endroit très calme et convivial. À refaire sans hésitation.
