“Absolutely perfect! Exceptional staff, hugely welcoming and a superb environment. The room (Rm 1) was perfect - comfortable and quiet, very clean and a lovely terrace. The dinner was excellent quality and very well priced, a good selection of wines too. Lovely location next to the lake.”

“Customer service was outstanding. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Very relaxing pool. Very nice steam room and sauna. The spa staff were excellent and the treatments were first rate. The rooms were very comfortable and cosy. The boot room was spacious. The only slight criticism is that the lockers are not ventilated or heated. The breakfast was very good for a 3* hotel. We ate at the restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. The dining room/breakfast room is more like a cosy salon...

“Séjour incroyable. Le chalet est magnifique, la chambre triple très grande et hyper bien meublée. La mezzanine est un vrai plus. Le personnel est au petit soin. Excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits faits maison. Le sauna et le bain chaud extérieur sont parfaits après le ski. Merci encore !”

Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place.”

“Les Crêtes Blanches is an old, dirty and uncomfortable family run hotel. It claims to offer a savoyard family home experience but to deliver that it needs a major renovation of the entire building and an serious upgrade on bedding and bathroom standards. At 400€/night, it is way below market standards of cleanliness and comfort. It's a good example of an establishment taking advantage of high demand to charge whatever they feel. It isn't worth more than 150€/night, and I'm being generous. And...
