Cafe with a viewing area of Solent Airport situated on the former Daedalus base. The Lee-on-the-Solent coastguard helicopter is based here and is seen taking off on another rescue and support mission. The cafe has reasonable prices, nice drinks and snacks and the bonus is it's the opposite side of the airfield from the school where I teach, so plenty of opportunities for our young learners.

"Very close to train station. Very close to large grocery store. Many diverse take-away and dining options in the neighbourhood. We all had our own bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Instructions for entry were clear. Door key was tricky at first, but we got the hang of it eventually. Bus routes nearby. No complaints. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"I enjoyed an early swim noting a reasonable sized pool and that the cleanliness was good. I was able to use the jacuzzi, steam and sauna room also available. All staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was good and bathroom although the temperature was quite warm. Tried to alter it but with no luck. "
