"The Old Hall hotel is a lovely old building, with all the charm you would expect. On arrival the reception staff were fantastic and helped us with parking arrangements. The room was lovely overlooking the Opera House. It was very hot whilst we were there but the room remained cool. The room facilities were good. I cant review the breakfast as the gas wasnt working in the hotel, and breakfast was served in the sister hotel next door."

"A beautiful room, we paid for a Superior Room with Runway View, and watched the planes come and go, which was a real joy!! We ate at the Collage Restaurant, and had the Beatroot & Rosemary Hummus with flat breads, followed by Sea Bass, absolutely superb! "

"The hotel is situated very close to terminal 2 at Manchester Airport so very convenient. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. A limited amount of food and drinks are available , but enough for overnight, and a well stocked vending machine is also available in the lobby. This is our second stay and we’d happily stay again on our next visit."

"Lovely comfy room and flexible air con so we could have the temperature we wanted. Check in busy and slow but staff pleasant. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food. Only annoyance was noisy guests in the corridor in the early hours. I'd have thought it would be common sense and respectful to talk quietly outside other people's rooms. Minutes from T2 so really convenient (also easy walk to train station). Access from arrivals (ground floor)."
