Hotel is run down and dated. Beds very uncomfortable felt like sleeping on plywood. Bathroom tile was moldy. Toilet and sink were loose. Very good location.

The hotel was ideal location close to marina, shops , restaurants, reception staff very helpful, a little out dated with room furnishings but laundry spotless , we just needed a room for a night after sailing for a week and this was very adequate for the price

Not worth the price!

From the outside the it looks nice but the room was dirty and only average for the price paid. Top sheet was dirty, hair and sweat marks on it! Looked like it hasn’t been changed. Bathroom was tiny and small shower. Wasn’t sure if door was fully locked, as a solo traveller it didn’t seem that safe. Loud noise from main street and bars. Nice balcony view though.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The room was very old, the whole place is falling apart for example beds had a weird smell, broken dirty furniture, even the toilet bin was rusty and pedal was completely broken with a metal thing coming out which you had to puss to then open the bin, which cost like what 5 euros to replace??!! There was a whole drama to have AC in the room as they remove the remote control of the AC once the room is empty so they gave it to us when we did the checkin. But then they also had turned off the switch from downstairs for the AC, and we had to ask the cleaning lady for help so she call them to switch it on. Then the remote control had lost connection with the AC as was removed from the room and they had to give us another. Too much trouble to just open the AC, it took us 30 min to resolve this. Service and staff was average, the cleaning lady was kind and helped us with the AC as mentioned before. During our checkin the manager was telling off the receptionist. Later she also had a fight with the two cleaners just outside our room, to the point that one of the other residents on the floor had to actually ask them to keep it down because she was sleeping! Overall, I know the location is convenient but try to avoid staying there, it does not worth your money at all.

Great location for the price

Great location for restaurants and the town, and lovely sea view. Room in need of a refurbishment- beds lumpy, and walls, curtains, bathroom very tired and worn. Clean though.

The room that we reserved was not the one they gave us when we checked in! The bathroom was dirty and the shower head was not working. We couldn’t take showers. We addressed this issue and they told us that they had no more rooms available and it was too late to bring a plumber! They gave our room to someone else and gave us a room with out a working shower!! It seems that they had already knew about the shower before we arrived and didn’t bother to fix it. Most likely the next guest after me will encounter the same problem.

Not what we expected

We expected to stay in a 3-Star Hotel but got a very low budget stay. Windows can’t be open because mosquitoes come in - the bath was a nightmare and one of the employees wasn’t nice at all.

Issues are poor amenities in room… no pillow cases , no water glasses… fridge in our second room was moldy, shower was just a hand shower when it easily could have a wall hanger… no place to hang damp towels…

Staff need some attitude adjustments

I read reviews and thought it can’t be that bad … but the customer service ranges from non existent to negative. The location is fabulous if using the ferries which is why I chose to stay here - and price. Bathroom tiny and shabby. Side sea view and no balcony - the front rooms should be better. It took over 5 minutes after ringing the reception bell for someone to appear at checkout. She was perfunctory and had a charm bypass. When I asked if I could leave my luggage she gestured to the floor near the stairs ‘anywhere’. Given that no staff were present at reception or the bar ( busy in the kitchen) I opted to keep my luggage with me. Staff are evidently multi-tasking - perhaps the reason for sour expressions.

Terrible experience. —Bathroom dirty and literally falling apart, mildew and toilet not working well. Low water pressure throughout building we were told by front desk. —Air Conditioner not working properly. Managed by electric panel in the front desk reception area. —-Noisy, located at the port which initially seemed convenient but hotel is next door to a hot spot Cafe/Bar open until 3am with DJ music every night which makes for little sleep. —Staff was rude and always in a hurry to address any guest questions/concerns (other guests, not just our family). —-Theft incident on a different floor. Not sure who removed an item (staff or not staff) but when guest created chaos, after they came back from their dinner, the item was miraculously found in the room. Rather sleep on the beach or port authority than go back to this hotel. Best of luck, stay well and safe travels.
