"If staying over at Gatwick I'd recommended this hotel. South terminal shops are open 24hrs so easy to get a late dinner snack if arriving late. "

"Ideal place to stay on the night before our long plane trip We just wanted to relax, we had neighbours shouting very loudly so my daughter knocked to see if they needed any help! They then were very quiet. We went to the sports bar to get some food. I asked for the pulled pork but without mustard and pickle to be told no they can’t do that! So clearly the food is not freshly made as if it was they could easily do that. I asked another question in the adjoining restaurant which was another refusal. So went in to the airport to get something. The bed was comfy and the room clean."

"Our key concerns re the property: - We may have missed it when we confirmed our booking, but when we arrived we found there was a GBP 12.00 parking charge. This seems very high given the cost of the room. - The room was unbearably hot, and even after adjusting the thermostat it stayed hot all night. - The room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room; it was very musty. - Finally, we had dinner in the restaurant and it was appalling. *My son ordered a pizza, and even though it was only 7ish pm, they had run out of pizzas. *I ordered a steak; it was GBP32 on the menu, and came out cold and overcooked. *My husband ordered a burger; the patty was the size of a beef slider, and was so overcooked he actually had to use a steak knife to cut it. Also on the burger was one slice of tomato, and one slice of lettuce. It was shocking for the price, particularly as it was almost inedible. I will say the service in the restaurant was very friendly, but the food was terrible. The ibll for the steak, two burgers, two glasses of wine, and a non-alco' beer was GBP 99.00. "
